Quick Note
I heard back from the editor at The Wild Rose Press. She's asked for the full manuscript of That Kind Of Magic. It's on it's way!

One more step. Fingers are crossed.

In the meantime I'll continue to go through the edits for Forever Home. It's looking good, thanks to my crit group and the awesome skills of Denise.

We got lots of snow yesterday. It actually looks like winter outside now.

Meet Sandy
Well, we did it. We now have a dog. My son has been asking for one for as long as I can remember and we got the go-ahead, so Sandy joined our family on Valentine's Day.

Sandy is a 4 year old of unknown breeding. Maybe some Yellow Lab? Not sure. She's been with my DH's friend since she was under a year old but she originally came from the streets of Puerto Rico. She's come a long way!

She's only about knee high, very quiet and sweet. Likes sitting on laps and sleeping in a bed. Can't wait to get out on walks with her! (Decent walks-we already do the 4am walk and the 9pm walk). This will be good for my waistline!

Goodbye Potatos
Or is it Potatoes? I never get that one right, to my shame.

Anyway, my DH and I have decided to embark upon a journey of healthier eating. I ask the age old question: Why is it that everything that I love to eat is so bad??? I think I need to go to a hypnotist to convince me that pizza and sausage tastes like cat litter and tofu is the nectar of the gods. Something to help!!

My brother in law is in the National Guard and he's on a military diet. He's going to give DH the details and that's what DH is going to do. I don't know if I'll join in, but I'll do better.

So buh-bye pasta. Buh-bye potato(e)s, buh-bye things that have no nutritional value.

No word yet from The Wild Rose Press regarding That Kind Of Magic. By Friday I hope. The editor said I should hear by Friday. In the meantime I'm hacking away at Forever Home, thanks in large part to Denise's help. And when I'm not doing that I'm working on a Blaze-worthy wip and thinking about my young adult book.

So, I'm not slacking off!
