| MIA Again |
And there's no excuse.
Yes, I've been editing. Nearly done with the editing for Dreamer's Sea, except for the crit process.
So, I ask, how much stock do/should writers put in critiques? I'm just afraid with this story that by waiting for the crit process to be finished I'll be 89 years old and I'll have to rewrite the whole thing. Well, maybe 45. It's long book. So, should I depend on these critiques or just trust my own judgement and send it out when I my editing done?
I'm still waiting to hear from Harlequin Blaze regarding the status of That Kind Of Magic. Anytime now. Aaaanytime. Well, anytime between now and November.
Not much going on in my world. Kids are back to school and the projects are starting to pour in, as are school photos and soon fundraisers. Ca-ching!! I havent even recovered from school shopping.

| A New Week |
Okay, so I still have to write about 1800 words a day to finish NaNo. Can it be done??? Sure. If I really put my mind to it. I like the flow of the story, I'm trying to slowly build up the attraction between my hero and heroine. It wouldn't be believable otherwise, given who they are. I still have a lot of unanswered questions but that's my bad. I really didn't plot this one out as well as I should've. So, does my heroine go to live at the hero's house (not sleeping together) or does she go live at her employers house. It's a toss up. The hero would probably like to keep her closer so he can keep an eye on her.
I think I may have to add a little more mystery to her background. Maybe a mysterious death in her past. Hmmm....
Anyway, I have to start getting ready for work in a few. No holiday for our office. And I was a little ill to see the workload I've been dreading arrive. I'll be busy there for the rest of the holiday season.

| Oops |
I didn't write yesterday afternoon. I was running around too much and everytime I found myself at the computer I was distracted and then I'd have to leave the computer. I couldn't stay focused. I'm writing a new scene and I need that concentration.
Oh, and I didn't write anything this morning. I had to watch The Office. Again. Hey, it was the season premiere and I have to watch any JAMcentric episodes at least twice. Well, it wasn't JAMcentric really, but that's okay. It's still worth watching more than once.
Today on my agenda.... work and try not to fall asleep at my desk (yes, I did that yesterday... I dozed anyway), go to the lawyer with my mom and sister. My mom wants another set of ears to hear what the lawyer has to say about things. Then its off to dinner at my mom's house. Writing? Probably not. *sigh*
